North StarLifts : Website Design & Development, Marketing Collateral, SEO case study
I designed and built a custom website, sales collateral and a regional SEO programme for North Star Lifts & Escalators, a lift manufacturer running since 2006 with offices in Dehradun, Delhi and Haridwar. B2B project enquiries grew 210% and their target installation keywords now rank in the top 3.

From print brochures to a B2B lead engine for a 20-year lift manufacturer
Inbound enquiries from builders, architects and institutions after launch.
For the regional lift and elevator installation keywords we targeted.
Each lift type has its own page with specs and a quote path.
Finally visible to buyers who research online first.
Overview
North Star Lifts & Escalators manufactures, installs and maintains lifts across North India from its own plant, with more than 2,000 installations for homes, hospitals, universities, hotels and government buildings. Its sales material, though, was still printed brochures.
The brief was to give a 20-year-old engineering company a digital presence that matches its work: something a project architect or a developer’s procurement team could evaluate without a sales visit.
The challenge
Lifts are a high-trust, high-ticket B2B purchase. Buyers want technical clarity (capacity, drive type, machine room or not), proof of safety compliance and evidence of similar projects before they ever ask for a quote.
None of that was findable online. Offline brochures never reached the architecture firms and enterprise builders who now shortlist vendors through search, so two decades of engineering work were invisible at the moment buyers were deciding.
The approach
I structured the site the way a buyer evaluates a lift vendor: what do you make, can I trust you, have you done a project like mine, and how do I get a price. Every page answers one of those questions and ends in a quote path.
Search was planned in from the start. Each lift type and service line got its own page targeting the terms buyers actually use, the three regional offices are listed with their own phone numbers for local search, and a guides section covers the questions buyers research before they shortlist vendors.
What I built
Product catalogue by lift type
Dedicated pages for passenger, commercial, MRL, home, duplex, goods/freight, hospital/stretcher, hydraulic, service, car and capsule lifts.
Full service lifecycle
Installation, annual maintenance contracts, repair & overhaul and modernisation, each with what is included.
Trust layer
ISO 9001:2015, CE, Make in India and MSME credentials, component partners and featured installations such as the Uttarakhand High Court and Himalayan Institute Hospital Trust.
Qualified quote form
Enquiries arrive with lift type, number of stops and budget band, so the sales team can respond with a technical evaluation.
Guides for buyers
Articles such as choosing a home lift in India and MRL vs conventional lifts, written for long-tail search and AI answers.
Sales collateral
Print and digital brochures and pitch decks for architects and enterprise buyers, matching the new site.
The outcome
The company now has a sales channel that works without a referral: buyers find North Star in search, understand the range and credentials on their own, and arrive at the quote form already qualified.
Inbound project enquiries grew 210%, and the regional installation keywords we targeted rank in Google’s top 3.

Questions about this project
What did you build for North Star Lifts & Escalators?
A custom B2B website with a page for each of their 11 lift types and 4 service lines, a qualified quote form, a buyer-guides section and regional SEO, plus print and digital sales collateral for architects and enterprise buyers.
How did the new website increase B2B enquiries for a lift manufacturer?
By answering what a buyer checks before calling: the right lift type and its specs, safety certifications and past installations, all one click from a quote form. Combined with search visibility for regional installation keywords, project enquiries grew 210%.
What does SEO for a manufacturing or industrial company involve?
One page per product and service built around the terms buyers search, location signals for each office, structured data, fast technical foundations and helpful guides that answer pre-purchase questions. For North Star this put target keywords in Google’s top 3.
Can you build a similar website for my manufacturing or B2B business?
Yes. I design and build B2B websites with SEO, AEO and GEO built in, from product catalogues and quote flows to collateral. Share your product range and target regions on the contact page and I will suggest a plan.
